Fordnutz Club History 1999

1999: The club was strong and healthy with Scott as President, his Mom Vera handling the money, Barry Tallman as VP/Events with wife Roxanne taking care of membership and Lorne & Betty Pirson doing secretarial duties. We now offered merchandise to members and had a club banner made to advertise our presence at many local events. In May, meetings moved to Cruisers Pit Stop Diner, 21671 Fraser Highway, Langley.

Right: Phil Humphrey and Scott, wearing Fordnutz t-shirts, hold the new club banner at a Lynden, Washington event.

July: Jeff & Carol Bingaman's 68 Cougar XR7 sunroof car at Cascade's Prowl in Kirkland, Wa.

Jim & Elaine Pinkerton's 68 Cougar XR7 GTE 428CJ was also at Prowl.

August: The judged class at Claw In 99 in South Surrey Athletic Park.

The newly-restored first production Cougar (owned by the Pinkertons) was the star at Fordnutz' 99
Claw In.
